*Originally published in 1998 by Avatar Press in RAW MEDIA QUARTERLY, THE CURSE OF RAGDOLL is a seven-chapter tale of horror and retribution from beyond the grave, with glorious, fully-toned black and white interior art. Written and illustrated by Mike Wolfer, best known for his writing on such horror titles as LADY DEATH, NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD, Warren Ellis' GRAVEL and Garth Ennis' STITCHED, this is the first time that the RAGDOLL saga has been collected into a trade paperback. But this isn't the same story that it used to be! In its first incarnation, THE CURSE OF RAGDOLL was "adults only," but the explicit scenes have been expunged and replaced with all-new art, chapters have been expanded with new pages, and a shocking, twist ending has been created which puts a whole new spin on the tale of the patchwork princess! In addition, because of the addition of new art and pages, the story has been rewritten to accommodate those changes, with all-new lettering by Natalie Jane. To complete the package, the 3 variant covers for this tale of terror showcase the breathtakingly vibrant color work of Ceci de la Cruz.. But be warned: Although the story is now "R" instead of "X," THE CURSE OF RAGDOLL still contains copious amounts of nudity and graphic, gory violence.
