J.G. Hertzler interview
Whether he’s playing the Klingon warrior Martok or any of the roles he’s brought to life on Star Trek, it’s hard to take your eyes off J.G. Hertzler when he’s on screen – even when he’s under layers of makeup. We catch up with the veteran actor and author to discuss his time in the 22nd and 24th Centuries. "It’s hard to walk into the middle of a well-oiled machine like Deep Space Nine and fit in," he recalls. "It takes a little machete and stiletto action, or should I say Klingon bat’leth wielding, to carve out a comfortable niche for yourself."
Welcome to the 25th Century
We have exclusive access behind the scenes on the internet sensation, Star Trek Online, with original designs, concept art and the history of the venture. “When we sat down, there was not a sense of, ‘Okay let’s design a standard MMO with these character classes, those features, that combat, and put a Star Trek uniform on it,’” STO executive producer Craig Zinkievich explains. “We really looked hard at what Star Trek is, and everything we’ve done is inspired by what we thought needed to be in a Star Trek game."
