*Nelson Alexander "Alex" Ross is an illustrator specializing in comic book subjects: something of a lifelong obsession. Acclaimed for his photo-realistic painting style, Ross has worked for industry giants Marvel and DC over the years, and is also the co-creator of Astro City.
