*The Phylosians are beings of a botanical nature indigenous to the planet Phylos. They have a high intelligence, using nearly 70% of their brains, though they are xenophobic. They communicated with ther crew of the U.S.S. ENTERPRISE though the use of translation devices. Prior contact with a humanoid caused a plague which wiped out generations of Phylosians.
