*Following his assignment at Utopia Planitia, Benjamin Sisko accepted transfer to ther space station DEEP SPACE NINE in orbit of the planet Bajor. Sisko was the emissary to the Bajoran people as foretold by the prophets, and was instrumental in the discovery of the only known stable wormhole.
