The initially benevolent, eventually sinister Professor Logich of the planet Inaris welcomes Trance Gemini to his world after an enthused Trance accepts Inari major Whendar's offer to become a diplomat. It isn't long before Trance finds herself a prisoner, caught in the political crossfire of a Inari-Pyrian dispute. Logich insists that fifteen years ago, someone just Like Trance (possibly her ancestor) came to Inaris and caused a civil war, which resulted in death and destruction. Although the professor is concerned that history might repeat itself, Trance eventually convinces him that she is a friend. *Source: Back of card
