*BATTON LASH BIOGRAPHY
Batton Lash has been writing and drawing the trials and tribulations of attorneys Alanna Wolff and Jeff Byrd since 1979, when they first appeared in a weekly Brooklyn newspaper. The W&B strip has been running in the National Law Journal since 1983 and has been reprinted in additional weekly papers. In 1994 Lash formed Exhibit A Press with is wife, Jackie Estrada, to publish the bimonthly Wolff & Byrd, Counselors of the Macabre comic book along with book collections of both the newspaper strips and the comic books. Lash's other comic book work has included W&B stories for Topps, First, and Eclipse comics; art for Hamilton Comics' short-lived horror line (GRAVE TALES, DREAD OF NIGHT, etc.) and for several of the factoid books from Paradox Press; and the script for the notorious ARCHIE MEETS THE PUNISHER, the 1994 crossover between Archie Comics and Marvel Comics. *Source: Back of card
