*Helga Brandt’s drop-dead features match her drop-dead methods – she’s a SPECTRE assassin, menacingly portrayed by German actress Karin Dor. Although Brandt’s attempts to kill Bond are unsuccessful, Dor’s portrayal of her, especially in the interrogation scene aboard the Ning-Po, is wonderfully nasty. One wonders if the actress enjoyed the distinction of her horrible screen demise – after all, how many actresses get to be eaten alive by piranhas? *Source: Back of card
