*Kingdom Come's very first image represents a symbolic fight between Batman (the bat) and Wonder Woman (the eagle). Almost everyone mistook the star-spangled bird for Superman -- a misinterpretation we did not foresee, but one that delighted me, since it made Wonder Woman's later role more of a surprise.
