*Maricela, Luba's estranged oldest daughter, and Riri are lovers, who have fled Palomar for fear of being found out. Now living illegally in L.A., Riri cleans houses and Maricela sells flowers on the street.
Although they gave up everything for each other, they find themselves tempted: Maricela by the unwitting Kris Niznick; Riri by a blonde musclewoman. Furthermore, Steve Stranski is going after Riri and Sean Ogata has his eye on Maricela. Will one of these men be able to give the couple the baby they so desperately want?
