*Boots and Theo are two of the youngsters of Palomar. Theo used to help out Tonantzin in gathering enormous baskets of babosas (slugs) to fry up and sell on the street.
Boots likes to cause trouble, as in the time she stole a skull from a travelling witch and threw it away. The witch's wrath nearly brought destruction to Palomar, but things returned to normal and she continued on her way.
