After the death of his parents, Black Bolt was obligated to accept the mantle of leadership of the Inhumans at age 20 and was betrothed to Medusa. Their relationship has gone through many trials - from a coup and a banishmentat the hand's of Black Bolt's brother Maximus, to poisoning from Earth's pollution. After Black Bolt ordered his kingdom of Attilan moved to the Blue Area of the Moon, Black Bolt and Medusa were finally married, making Medusa queen.*Source: Back of card
