*While working on a way to regrow his lost arm, Dr. Curt Conners injected himself with a serum derived from the glands of a reptile. His missing limb did grow back, but the serum mutated him into a fearsome, man-sized, human-hating lizard! Now, with his raging reptilian strength (he can lift 12 tons) and his total command of his fellow reptiles, the Lizard is dedicated to wiping out humanity so that reptiles can rule the Earth...and he can be their king!
