Both men of two worlds, both somewhat out of control and confused as to their ultimate destiny, The Maxx and Mr. Gone are in reality very different. For while the Seamy Sorcerer has used his ability to switch between dimensions to indulge his own worst impulses, The Maxx, though confused and racked with despair, has never accepted the brutality and injustice of his world.
