*Dream and Delirium sit down to dinner with Destruction and his companion, Barnabas, a talking dog. The two guests decline to eat the elaborately prepared meal, and their host refuses to return with his siblings: that would mean returning to a role that has, to him, lost its meaning. Now that his brother and sister have found him, he must disappear again. He charges Barnabas to look after Delirium, and then he is gone.
