*Lord Lucifer Morningstar, Ruler of Hell, spent ten million years trafficking the transparent intrigues of demonkind and maintaining a place for dead mortals to torture themselves, until one day he simply ceased to care. He emptied his realm of its dead, banished his demons, had his leathern wings removed and presented the key to Hell to his old enemy Morpheus. The demon Mazikeen loved her master, and begged to share whatever new life he chose, but Lucifer wished to continue alone.
