*Doctor Bashir informs the commander that there have been no fatalities from the Cardassian attack. Commander Sisko is reunited with Jake, and the Cardassians depart before the U.S.S. Enterprise arrives. Aboard the starship, Sisko tells Captain Picard that he would like to keep his assignment on Deep Space Nine, and, realizing that Sisko has finally dealt with his past, Picard wishes him luck.
