*A native of Ireland (Earth), "Chief" Miles Edward O'Brien is the person in charge of maintenance and operation of the transporter system of the U.S.S. Enterprise. O'Brien was previously assigned as the tactical officer on the U.S.S. Rutledge under the command of Captain Benjamin Maxwell. His first assignment on the U.S.S. Enterprise was conn operator on the Battle Bridge. He was married to Keiko Ishikawa by Captain Picard, and they now have a daughter, Molly. *Source: Back of card
