Jabba the Hutt is a powerful force in Tatooine's underworld and beyond. His out-of-the way palace serves as a hangout for the planet's criminal element, not unlike the Mos Eisley Cantina and equally as diverse. Bounty hunters, gamblers, and thieves are commonplace, so it seems unusual that a small group of heroes find themselves mixed in.
