*"I once pencilled the Star Wars comic but was never allowed to show any of the principle characters in conflict," laments Walter Simonson. "Now's my chance!" Simonson began working professionally as an artist in 1972. He became a writer in '79 with Marvel's Battlestar Galactica book. Since then, he's written or drawn everything from Manhunter to Superman to Thor to Robocop vs. The Terminator to the original comic adaptation of Alien. Simonson recently adapted the Jurassic Park screenplay for the Topps comics four-issue series. *Source: Back of car
