Ewoks look like little furballs, but these simple, primitive beings are strong-willed, fiercely loyal, and attuned to their environment on Endor. At first encounter, it looks like they will make a stew of the Rebels they capture, but after explanations are made they become staunch allies against the Imperial invaders.
