*Rebel Assault has you, the player (aka Rookie One), flying a variety of ships in many different environments, from a T-16 skyhopper on Tatooine to an X-wing on Yavin. Rookie One is shown here as a young woman (front) by digital artist Keith Carter. The planet Hoth is the setting for three of the game chapters and Rookie One is shown dodging a blast from a stormtrooper (back, artwork: Steven Sherer). Keith Carter is one of a new generation of artists using the computer as a primary tool for illustration. Keith's illustrations have appeared in the Washington Post, USA Today, National Geographic, and several Nike promotions.
