*Laid out on a frigid steel medical table, writhing in unspeakable agony and unimaginable mental anguish was how Darth Vader was encased in his fearsome life-support armor. However, before George Lucas' ultimate chapter in the Star Wars saga, that portion of Vader's life still remained unclear, especially so in 1994 when Jim Reddington completed this lost Galaxy piece. Anakin Skywalker, looking very much like his son, sits gracefully for an Imperial audience while his metamorphosis occurs. Quite a different scenario from what we saw in Revenge of the Sith, which is a great indicator as to the scope of imagination fans had while envisioning the events prior to Star Wars: A New Hope. *Source: Back of card
