*With North Am in disarray, the Japanese Ambassador arrives in search of Magnus, who has gone to live as a Goph. In a Goph bar, Magnus befriends Felina, whose boyfriend, Slagger, thinks Magnus is out to steal his woman! The resulting fight inspires mutual respect, and a rugged friendship is born! But North Am troops come to arrest Magnus for abandoning the Milespires, so he goes to Japan with the Ambassador.
