*Astronaut Richard Talsorian was captain of the Monitor One space station and responsible for the lives of everyone on board. When a strange comet passed nearby and bathed the station in radiation, it was Talsorian's heroic efforts that kept Monitor One from veering out of orbit and burning up on reentry. Unfortunately, Talsorian was one of those given awesome powers and driven mad by the comet, and he now fights for world domination as Talos of the WarGuard.
