*Conducting experiments on reptiles in zero gravity, Dr. Arliss Hirsch was fused with one of his subjects during the Comet Effect. Attempts to electronically control his declining human persona were in vain and Hirsch went insane. As Stricture, Hirsch was deemed too dangerous to go free, and he was immediately confined aboard SkyWatch.
