Zaladane's mutated prehistoric soldiers attack Magneto's group. Magneto defeats the soldiers with a wave of his hand. He explains that Zaladane has raised six towers, each located over a primary nexus of the Earth's magnetic field. These will be used as amplifiers for her magnetic powers.
