This series takes place in between Michael Turner's Fathom (2011) and Michael Turner's Fathom (2013). While it contains a stand-alone story, is essentially serves as a prelude for the 2013 title, while simultaneously wrapping up loose ends from many of the previous volumes and well as other mini-series (such as the volumes 1 & 2 of Michael Turner's Fathom: Kiani).
