About Space Usagi (1992)
This first volume of Space Usagi from Mirage forms the first half of the Space Usagi story, continued and completed in Mirage's second volume of the story, published in 1993.
This title, featuring story and art by Stan Sakai, featured covers colored by Tom Luth, but black & white interiors. The second volume would also feature covers colored by Luth, but with interiors colored by Mary Woodring.
It should be noted that the protagonist is identified simply as Usagi in this volume, the son of Miyamoto Usagi. In the second volume, it is revealed that his name is also Miyamoto Usagi. This is stated because there are several characters featured in the Space Usagi saga who are identical in aspect to characters in the Usagi Yojimbo stories, but who have none of the continuity of those stories, characters such as Tomoeh, Rhogen, and Ryoko.
