About World of Smallville
Directly released after The World of Krypton mini-series (Dec 1987 to March 1988), John Byrne continues his re-vamping of the Superman mythos. We are presented with two key secret events from Clark Kent’s past. One being the fact that Martha had a previous husband, the other being how insidiously wicked the Manhunters had been in acquiring agents for their plot. After this four issue run, The World of Metropolis mini-series starts.
