Alright how about a place to talk about Marvel television shows, be it MCU or even outside of the regular MCU universe.

What If? - I know this has been finished for a little bit now, I personally loved it. I thought the animation style was perfect for the show.
I loved the way the way each individual episode was self contained ( some of them at the time seemed like just filler episodes however). In the end they managed to tie everything together and even managed to give Black Widow an ending she deserved.

Hit Monkey (Hulu) - Just finished this series a couple days ago. I know virtually nothing about this character. But I loved the show either way, Lots of action and plenty of humor, most defiantly not for kids with plenty of graphic violence and adult language. They even through in some appearances from other Marvel characters like Fat Cobra and Silver Samurai.
I know it's on Hulu so its probably one and done, but they ended with a season 2 in mind.

Hawkeye - looking forward to Hawkeye this week.

Watched the first 2 episodes of Hawkeye, looks great so far.
Hallie Stanfield makes a great Kate Bishop and I love the introduction of the Swordsman.

Same here. At first I didn't realize that he was supposed to be the Swordsman and then it hit me and I was blown away! Can't wait to see what happens with him. Kinda looks like he figured out that Kate was under the Ronin costume?

Also stoked to see Echo. Really digging this show so far, wish it was longer than 6 episodes. Broken Heart

With only 1 episode left, Hawkeye is my pick for the best Marvel show to date.

My wife and I watch all the shows and movies together first. Then we rewatch with my 11 year old son and my 64 year old mom. So we've seen the first three of these twice through.

WandaVision - I loved this show. LOVED it. I had a good sense of the structure going in and appreciated it all.

Falcon & Winter Soldier - I really liked the overall arc, themes, and Zemo. But whatever virus story they chose to edit out because of COIVD really made it awkward. And I don't love the ambiguous ending.

Loki - I really wasn't sure what to think by the time the third episode came around the first time. But I was so looking forward to rewatching this entire series and it pays off so well. This may actually be my favorite to date after the rewatch, but I'm a sucker for alternate storylines.

What If - I was so looking forward to this since the 80s What If is what got me into Marvel comics as a kid. Very hit and miss show. I liked the first couple and Strange. But the rest were a real mixed bag. And while having a finale that combined them into a team was obviously the endgame, not having one of the episodes was just dumb.

Hawkeye - Really digging this show. There are so many great nods and performances (except Vera Farmiga - her delivery is very weird and distracting to me, was in Godzilla too). The last episode has a LOT to cover. I said to my wife, "It better be about 3 hours long."

Hit-Monkey - A friend said he loved it and I got Hulu for Attack on Titan, so checked out the first two episodes. I don't hate it, but I don't like it. Nothing about it strikes me as actually funny.

I like it so far. Didn't really follow the comics, but surprised Khonshu is coming off as a strange jerk. Wonder if it's a misdirect.

Something I haven't heard anyone talk about--the CGI. Did it look terrible to anyone else? Particularly the car chase in episode one, and especially when all those logs came down the mountain.

This is definitely a reinterpretation of the Moon Knight that I grew up with. Not bad, does have some of the same themes.

The biggest difference for me is that in the 80's series Steven Grant was a suave millionaire rather than an inauspicious museum worker. I get that they were trying to avoid Bruce Wayne comparisons. Also haven't seen Jake Lockley yet either nor his old school supporting cast like Marlene Alruane or Frenchie. MK has gone through a few different personas over the years and honestly I haven't read everything but I do think that the spirit of the character is intact.

Same as with Khonshu. Different creative teams have gone in different directions with the Egyptian god of vengeance. Some times he has been a silent presence, other times Marc has been able to communicate with him directly, there was one series where Khonshu actually inhabited the body, and so on.

I believe the Khonshu in the TV series is taken from the 2006 series. In that one he was constantly in Marc's head yammering away and telling him to do crazy stuff. That was the series where Moon Knight cut Bushmaster's face off and was wearing it like a mask because Khonshu told him to.

After two episodes it seems to me like they are taking a bit from a few different series and mixing it together. Looking forward to the rest!

Alright yet another MCU television show:
Ms Marvel, anbody have any opinions on this one.
I know I'm not the target audience here but its not too bad so far.
Shes not a character that's been around very long, and I personally don't have a problem with the change of her powers and origin.

I am Groot - It's just a handful of shorts, there cute I was entertained, and my grand kids loved them so I guess it did the job.

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law: I've enjoyed the first two episodes so far.
Yes it's a comedy (similar to most of her solo series' .
Also I know a lot of complaints about the weakening of the Hulk, I'm fine with that it fits with the show.
Not sure if I like Tim Roth's current rendition of Emil Blonsky, but we will see where this goes.

Ms. Marvel - The whole family absolutely loved. It's not a perfectly executed show, but we did not care.

She-Hulk - Enjoying it. Will have to see where it gets to by the end, but enjoying it.

I liked Ms. Marvel but it wasn't my favorite. I mean, it was very well done as you would expect, the story was solid and the villains motivation was believable. Really I liked pretty much everything about it but I am not overly familiar with the character so it didn't grip me as much as Moon Knight or Hawkeye did.

I am loving She-Hulk so far! The characterizations have been dead on. I'm enjoying the appearances of Wong and Abomination. Clears up the Shang Chi scene a little more. Love the way she breaks the Fourth Wall, the comedy is good.

Um, the Wrecking Crew? Rolling on the Floor Not quite what I expected.

The Groot shorts are awesome! Even my girlfriend likes them.

To finish my thoughts on the Moon Knight series.

I liked it but was disappointed in a couple of things. The biggest thing was that they kept cutting out the fight scenes. A battle would start then Stephen would black out and next thing you know he would wake up and see the carnage that occurred but we didn't. It was a bit frustrating at times.

They completely reimagined the Marlene Alruane character and even changed her name which is fine I guess. No Frenchie. I did laugh at what they did with Crawley!

It was very complicated and when all eps were available I watched through in one sitting. Made a little more sense second time around. Too bad about what happened to Gaspard Ulliel (Midnight Man), looked like he was going to be prominent. R.I.P.

I did like the costume, when we got to see it. Even the White Suit costume was spot on from the comics. The split personality part was done very well and I fell off the couch when Jake Lockley finally showed up.

It will be interesting to see what they have next in store for ol' MK. I hear there's a Season 2 in the works. Obviously Werewolf by Night would be a good landing spot. Think

Saw the Marvel Specials - Werewolf by Night and the Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special. Can't wait for the Easter Special featuring the White Rabbit and Egghead. Tongue

Loved WbN! Jack Russel was cool. Freaking Man-Thing! Very cool how it was B&W and looked like a classic horror movie with Boris Karloff or Lon Chaney. It would be cool to see some of those characters making into more shows/movies.

The GotG special was hilarious! I mean, Kevin Bacon? Time Out Also liked the "reveal" that Ego was the father of Mantis and therefore she and Starlord are half brother and sister. I know that's not how it happened in the comics but based on the movie versions I always thought it was obvious. Ego said he had found and tested all of his offspring (or did he?) and killed the worthless ones. Mantis had a power that he could use therefore he kept her around.

A couple of years ago Colleen and I started rewatching the Marvel Netflix shows in order. Just finished Punisher Season 1. Forgot how brutal it got at the end there. Next up is Jessica Jones #2. I thought at the time and am now reinforced in my thoughts that it is very reminiscent of early Marvel comics where they would reference each other. Makes it seem like a real "universe" when things and characters from one show have an effect in another. Turk is in pretty much all of them, Night Nurse, Karen Page, Jeri Hogarth and probably more that I don't remember right now show up in multiple series.

I think that the next MCU show will be Secret Invasion? Here's the new trailer for that: Secret Wars Trailer

OK, so what really happened was that I was temporarily replaced by a Skrull and that's who posted the fake trailer. Shame on You

I'm me again now and here's the real trailer: Totally the real Secret Wars trailer and not a Skrull fake one.
