Hi all,
I have not logged into this site for a few months, and I tried using the search function to see if I missed some update or message regarding my problem, but did not see a recent hit concerning my situation--namely my
Wish List
has completely disappeared.?!?
I had spent quite a lot of time the previous few years adding many many comics to my wish list--and would usually come back to update it whenever I made some comic purchases. I also used it a lot whenever I would see a seller's post about a good sale going on, or just randomly checking out some of my favorite sellers' stores--I would always use the filter to just see everything that seller had in inventory that was on my wish list.
I never received any email or CCL message saying this was possible, or that I needed to perform some task to prevent my wish list from being deleted--so I am rather confused and sad that this has happened.
I do not know if I will again spend the many hours I previously did adding several thousand comics (I have many different collections starting back in the silver age all the way to the present) to a new wish list--especially if it may just disappear without warning. I really liked this website's display and tracking of comics on my wish list. With this new development, I will probably not be visiting CCL much in the future. It is a shame, as I had some great buying experiences with sellers on this site.
Did I miss some general announcement about this happening to other users, or if there is a way to have my wish list somehow recovered?
Thanks for any information about this issue.
Collecting mostly Marvel (and some DC) in the late Silver and Bronze Age. Also collect Star Trek and other select Sci-Fi titles.

This sucks to hear, and it's something I've heard before. If you don't subscribe/pay for the software, a user's wishlist disappears after a certain amount of time not logging in. Not sure how long that is. Thirty days, maybe? It's another feature of this site that needs to be corrected.
I hope your ire toward CCL management doesn't prevent you from further patronizing some great sellers here. Sounds like you've had good experiences with them in the past.

I started making purchases here in late 2016--and I've gone through cycles where I was not buying comics for several months at a time, but I would always check back here first when I got an itch to work on a certain collection --and no matter where I bought comics from, this was the only place I kept an online wish-list.
Too bad there is not some auto-generated message if the system is about to delete a user's wish-list:
"Dear CCL user,
Due to inactivity on our website for the last XX days, your wish-list may/will be deleted if you do not log-in again in the next XX number of days".
Hopefully someone reading this may know how to retrieve the data that contained my wish-list--it was a helpful, useful, and enjoyed comic collecting tool for the last 6 years.
Thanks,
James

.
It has been well over a year since I last subbed and my wish list seems to still be intact, so if it does eventually purge its much longer than 30 days.
Edit- seems my sub ended in September 2021.. there is that.

You don't have to have a subscription to have a web based wishlist. But, that wishlist is lost after an unreasonably short period of time (60 days) of not logging into the website.

I wonder if you restarted your subscription and then loaded an old back up if the wishlist would repopulate.

I export my wishlist to Excel every few months from the 'Reports' tab of the software after running an update. I've done so for years. Not because of any concern that it will disappear from the site, but out of fear that diminishing sales will cause CCL to go under and the site will disappear without management notifying anybody about what is happening.

I was afraid of that for a few years as well but recently now (very recently) I have a glimmering of hope.
