Has anything happened on the update today? I got an e-mail saying there would be an update on 10/2, so I waited most of the day and just logged in now.

Nothing looks any different than before and I don't see any of the features that were advertised. Did the update not happen yet? Did it go wrong again and they have rolled back?

Trying to figure out what is happening...

Nothing has happened today. Either mission was aborted, or they're going to do it after hours. I'm thinking it was the former.

Earlier today there was about an hour where all of the comics were showing up "Image Not Found" and then it went back to normal. Maybe they tried and it didn't work so they aborted? Confused

It's here!

At first glance, it appears the same as the short lived update from a few months ago. I have a comic show to prepare for this weekend, so I won't be listing anything or transferring my info over just yet. I'm interested in hearing what the opinions will be on this update.

Yeah, I'm going to have to poke around a little bit before I can say one way or the other. First glance has me liking some things and on the fence about some others.

I will probably list a test stack of comics in a day or two and see how that works.

Does it seem any different from what you remember it was before?

Does seem like there's something different. Can't put my finger on it. But, to be fair, I didn't get a real good look last time because it wasn't always connecting for me.

Thus far, the update worked well, but I'm unclear about adding items.

I'm guessing we should not use the software?

I use the shelves a lot, and the public view is as it was, in MY defined order, but the dashboard is alphabetical.
It does not matter unless you use that function.

'price paid' is data I previously did not use, but the graph calculations make it smarter to use properly.

More to come...

Well, it isn't fully compatible with Chrome web browsers, so I probably won't use it much until they get that fixed. Looks like its probably an easy fix, so hopefully it won't take them long...

1. Adding items is not as intuitive as before, but still rather nice.
2. Editing on the fly is nice, but the 'default condition' for adding is at 'Very Fine\ Near Mint' good for some I suppose, but it would be nice to be able to set the default.
3. The site still does not show as secure, but HOPEFULLY that will change after the bugs are worked out.

I already hate just about everything about this mess.

White on orange does not work.

I'd just the phrase "if it ain't broke..." but this place was already broken. They just made it harder to read, harder to use, and uglier.

Yeah, so far a big fan of this.

Actually, not as bad adding single issues.....can EASILY add to shelves when selling.

Quick thoughts from a non-seller:

-Not a fan of the new wishlist format. I don't need the list grouped by title. It's also misleading. For instance, I have Amazing Spider-Man #10 of the current series on my list. It's the only issue from that series on my wishlist, but the list displays the first and most recent issue of that series instead. I also don't see any way to delete multiple issues from the wishlist.

-I've always been a fan of the "Find Items for Sale" feature in the upper left corner. But I can only find that in the forums or individual item pages. I wish it was available on every page.

They've been talking about going cloud-based for years.

OK, took a moment to look around. When searching for a title for sale (say, Amazing Spider-Man), I DO like that the multiple-page format has been eliminated in favor of the scrolling method that continually refreshes. However, I do NOT like that you have to click on every single issue to see what is for sale and by who. I much preferred the older method where each issue was displayed along with the first several copies listed for sale. As a seller, it was useful to use to quickly determine what a run of books was selling for. Now I have to click on every single issue to determine a price. Much more time consuming now. Unless there is a button to change the layout/view that I'm missing.

My avatar image disappeared so now each post just has an ugly black box.

I'm assuming "Software will phase out soon" means it will not update anymore. I would expect everyone who ever downloaded the software and installed their collections should still be safe on their computers. I don't like cloud based stuff since I assume once you stop paying the subscription or lose internet service, your collection disappears. Software based you can load everything you ever expect to need in terms of titles then use it anywhere from then on, active internet or not. You just will not be able to add newer stuff but there's already a number of alternatives for that anyway I see customers coming in checking their phones in store to see what they have or need while shopping.

WE WANT HEINICKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For those picking, Heiney is now with the Chargers andhas 2 completions for 24 yards last time I checked this year. :)
Less than a year ago you didn't want us to be able to have the 2nd pick in the draft.
Seems like you're making progress, now to apply some of that to your Prime Time picks to see if you can catch up to me. Nailbiting

You may need to hard refresh chrome. Hold the Ctrl button and hit F5. That should fixe the colors.

I am going to add "Set Default" to our list of updates for future releases. That is a good idea. Also, we have added SSL to the images so that now we can work on securing the entire website. That is in the next release. Hopefully, it won't be 10 years from now. Thanks for hanging with us.
