OK, it's been quite a while since there has been a Superhero Showdown here in these parts. For those of you who are not familiar with SHS it's kind of like this.
Have you ever wondered to yourself, "Self, I wonder who would win in a fight between Superman and the Hulk?" and then you asked all of your bestest friends what they think and then you all argue about it while drinking grape soda and eating Funyuns (BTW - don't go for the Chile & Limón flavor
stick with the original) until finally a consensus is reached. Usually that consensus boiled down to, "I know you are but what am I?" but I digress.
In our Superhero Showdown we are going to send a pair of Fighters (one each) to the Arena then present our arguments/rationales and ask for your participation to decide who would win. Slightly different format than before if anyone even remembers that long ago.
For this particular contest
Comic Clint and
Moon Knight 1 will be going head-to-head in a Best of 5 Tournament. First to 3 wins takes the Trophy.
One thing that will make this Tournament different from those in the past is we will be doing delayed voting. Once teams are set the first round will begin. Clint and I will select our fighters and arena and then try to convince you who will win the fight. We welcome everyone to comment and either poke holes in our strategies or give us your own and in general say which character you are leaning towards. After a few days there will be the Voting Phase where you choose which character you think will win.
Once voting ends the score will be tallied and then we move on to the next Round until either Clint or I get three wins.

What we are doing now is the Draft. Clint is going first and then we alternate until we have each picked
Seven characters. I know what you're thinking, "C'mon Howie, it's best of five - why do you need seven characters?" Good question!
The format that Clint and I agreed on is
Animal Battle!Any character with an Animal or Animal Themed Name. Doesn't need to have animal powers necessarily.
We decided that it would be cool to each have characters from both Marvel and DC. Clint is going DC heavy (4 DC, 3 Marvel) and I am going heavy Marvel (4 Marvel, 3 DC)
Once our rosters are set, hopefully by the end of the day, we will get ready for Battle!
On Tuesday we will begin Fight #1
Voting will start on Friday and last through Sunday.
The Monday after we will choose new opponents and a new location and start over!
