Rules For Using Wild CardsEach Manager only gets to use 2 cards total during the entire Showdown. There will be anywhere from 3 to 5 battles so cards need to be used wisely. Once a card is used it is gone and cannot be selected again. You can use both your cards in one round if you wish.
All Cards must be played during the Battle Phase and not the Voting Phase. If a Manager has not played a card by the time the Battle Phase has ended it is too late.
RogueWhen you play this card you can absorb one of your teammates powers whether they have been eliminated or not. For example, if Superman is on your team your Fighter can absorb
one of his powers - Heat Vision, Flight, Invulnerability, etc., but only one of them.
KryptoniteUsing this card allows you to take away one of the powers of your opponent's fighter. Same as the Rogue card, you can remove only one power from your opponent.
Rick JonesPlaying this one allows you to switch out your current fighter to one you have not used yet and has not been eliminated. Current fighter returns to your roster and is available to be used again. If the substitute character loses then he or she is eliminated.
Captain UniverseWhen you play this card your fighter gets a Power Boost for this Round doubling the strength of all powers. If your fighter has weapons as well as actual powers then the weapons are upgraded as well.
Donna TroyThis card allows the Manager to switch out his opponents fighter for another version of that character. For instance, if Clint was using Iron Man with the Hulkbuster Armor I could use this card to switch him to Iron v1 from the 1960's with the grey armor. (Not that I would do something like that...

)
LockjawBy using this card you bring one of your available fighters into the ring to make it a two against one battle. If you still end up losing this battle then both fighters are eliminated. If you win the battle then the summoned character is still available for a future battle.
ElseworldsIf you are not happy with the Arena because it's underwater and your character can't breathe underwater (or any other reason) you can use this card to switch to a different terrain. All Arenas are available whether or not they have already been used. The Arena that was changed is eliminated from consideration, the one changed to will still be allowed.
SPECIAL CARDSEach Manager has one each of these cards. Once a card is used that Manager can not use it again. These cards are Bonuses and do not count against the Two Cards limit for the Wild Cards.
Black LanternUsing this card brings one of your defeated characters back and that character can be used again. However, you must drop one of your remaining fighters. This card can be played at any time and the character resurrected is immediately available for use.
D'SpayreYou can use this card only during the Voting Phase. If you feel that you will not win then you can withdraw a Fighter from the Arena. That Fighter is then still available for a future match. If you play this card during a one-on-one fight then you automatically lose the fight. Playing it during a Team Battle saves the character that you choose to withdraw. The fight is not over per se as your other character may pull out something amazing.
