Hi Everyone i havent been on here in a while am getting back into collecting again. I was wondering if any sellers on CCL will press and submit a purchase (at my cost) to CGC for grading as well? Just though instead of shipping the book back to australia and then sending back to US. would be easier to get it all done before sending back to oz.

Hi,
I would be happy to help!
I have a friend with a CGC account and he actually has submitted a couple of books for a customer of mine in France who is doing the same thing.
Some of my best customers are from Australia and I ship there all of the time with no problems!
Let me know if I can help.
Take care,
Howie

Be prepared for a wait. I submitted books for a press and grade back in February and am still waiting.

Yeah, my friend has something he sent in to CGC in April that is still processing. He also has something in to CBCS that was received in March but hasn't even yet gotten to the processing stage.
Maybe they need to hire more people.

CGC was bought by Blackstone (world's largest private equity firm) in July. There will be some cash infusion for more employees and better systems and process. And in a year or two, there will be expectations of significant returns on those investments.
It will be interesting to see if this is a longer term investment with board support and expertise or just a quick investment to capture gains before the collectibles bubble bursts. If the latter, and Blackstone sells CGC to another PE firm in a year or two, expect things to get worse after they get better.
