"Moon Madness!"
A Newspaper tycoon plans to beat the US to the moon so that he can claim exclusive mineral rights. To help his cause, he publishes a series of articles the state that the moon is infested with werewolves. His ploy works, and he is the first man on the moon. To his shock, however, he learns that his story was no hoax. 6 pages (C-798).
"Typhoid"
Its 1875, and the Typhoid epidemic has hit New York City. A Chicago man schemes to defraud his life insurance company by faking his death from the disease. As he leaves town with the proceeds, he is unaware that he shares a train compartment with a person who has Typhoid. 5 pages (C-342).

"Noah"
In the far future, there is man like Noah of Old Testament fame, who has prophesied that Earth needs to be abandoned. He gathers two of every creature into a rocket ship. As weathermen see no rains coming, they laugh as the prophet departs, but, had they asked him, he would have told them that it was not flood but drought that they need fear. 3 pages (C-976).
"The Magic Word"
An American magician has traveled to India to learn the mystic arts, and arranges to meet the famed Rashu. Rashu puts on a display of levitation, and the American demands to know the secret. When he is denied, he threatens violence. Rashu tells him the secret, then watches as the man rises into space to his doom. 4 pages (C-901).
"When a World Went Mad!"
A doctor invents a serum that will grant immortality. Despite protests, he distributes it freely. Without fear of death, countries get brazen and war breaks out, destroying civilization as we know it. All who have taken the serum devolve into CroMagnons, and the world is brought back to it's pre-historic origins. 5 pages (C-889).
