Invasion - The Doomsdale Scenario: Episode 2.
An elite squad of Canadian commandos are going to mount a ‘para-kite’ attack on the Doomsdale Nuclear Research Station that has been taken over by the Volgan invaders for their development of nuclear weapons. Bill Savage and his men are on standby to move in after the Canadians have made the first strike. Unfortunately a vagrant in the area tips the Volgans off and the Canadians are cut down in the air leaving the resistance to mount their own attack “Bill Savage Style!”
Flesh – Flesh Book I. Episode 14.
Any man showing fear in the face of the dinosaur siege is put to death for cowardice by the trans-time base Controller. Earl Reagan tries to reason with the Controller saying that any man would feel fear when up against the kind of monstrous foes they were facing. The Controller has Reagan and Joe Brontowski locked away for their insubordination but they are able to escape just as a massive storm breaks sparking the amassed dinosaurs into battle.
Harlem Heroes – Harlem Heroes: Episode 14.
It’s the second round of the World Aeroball Championship and the Harlem Heroes are down 0-6 to the Flying Scotsmen at the half-time buzzer. Ex-Harlem Hero, Louis Mayer who is now just a brain in a jar after ‘the road-crash’, suggests during the half-time break that the Heroes try employing the same sort of style as the Harlem Globetrotters of old. The plan works and the scores are tied at full-time meaning the game will have to go into a one on one sudden-death fly-off!
Dan Dare – Hollow World: Part 3.
Dan Dare jumps the star freighter ‘Titan 1C’ into faster-than-light speed but the star drive fails and the crewman outside the protected command area are killed through rapid ageing. As the Titan 1C drops back into normal space it’s on a heading straight for a giant sun and Dare will have to attempt a landing on an unknown planet orbiting within the sun itself! Meanwhile, Mekon gives the Two of Verath a demonstration of his ruthlessness and vows to never again to be thwarted by primitive Earthmen such as he was in the past.
M.A.C.H.1 – Chinese Formula (single episode)

John Probe is sent undercover into China as a table tennis player to locate a hidden formula that will prevent a future world food crisis. The formula is being kept by the evil Shang-Chin who plans to reveal himself as a saviour when China inevitably fails in being able to continue feeding itself. A master of the martial art “C’hi”, Shang-Chin believes that he is more than a match for John Probe but as the MACH man, Probe is easily the equal to Chin who ends up losing his mind when unable to defeat his adversary.
Judge Dredd – Robot Wars: Part 5.
First artwork by Ian Gibson to appear in 2000AD (probably best known for his later work on Robo-Hunter and Halo Jones).
Judge Dredd has been captured by the robot leader Call-Me-Kenneth and is shown the production line that’s making more robots to be used to destroy the fleshy humans. Dredd likens Call-Me-Kenneth to Adolf Hitler and the robot leader agrees that he’s a big fan of the historical figure. Call-Me-Kenneth then reveals that he plans to transplant Dredds brain into a robot look-alike the very next morning. While awaiting his fate, Dredd is set free by the loyal robot Walter who says that some of the older robots are unhappy with the rule of Call-Me-Kenneth and they may have a chance to take control of the robotics factory.
