"Strangers ...In a Savage Land!"
Warren is locked in a hazy nightmare from the spell of Sauron as he tries to wake himself but ends up in the Savage Land, DOA. The X-Men end up in the Savage Land where they run into Ka-Zar who is locked in a battle for his homeland against a band of strange mutants and their unseen Master. But the Master is busy bringing Warren back from the dead as the X-Men join Ka-Zar's struggle. Angel sets out to help this Master end the battle between his forces and Ka-Zar, not knowing that the Master is really Magneto.
