Item Bio
"Day of the Godslayer!"

It takes an imposing force to cause the new all-powerful Count Nefaria to flinch from his unchecked swath through the ranks of the Avengers. Such a force is Thor, the God of raging Thunder.

Thor attacks with righteous vitriol, perhaps underestimating his 'mortal' opponent. In Nefaria's anxiety to avoid a Royal Asgardian pounding, he astonishes both Thor and himself, by halting Mjolnir in mid-swing with his bare hand.

Yellowjacket manages to fully revive the Vision. If the Avengers are to prevail, they'll need their most powerful members.

Vision joins the fray, where Thor is stunned to be on the receiving end of a Nefaria right-cross. Further disbelief abounds when the Android finds that he cannot pass his intangible hand through Nefaria's chest. The bonus for the Count is, that he can very much touch the Vision, even in his immaterial form.

The architect of Nefaria's rise to near-omnipotence is the dying Professor Kenneth Sturdy. The reason he's dying; Nefaria reneged on the terms of his renovation and smashed the laboratory, mortally wounding the Professor.

Sturdy has the last laugh, informing Nefaria that he will die too, from accelerated aging that only the Professor could stave.

Driven mad by rage and despair in equal measure, Nefaria inflicts further damage to the city. The Vision knocks him out of the air, to the earthbound Avengers. It takes the Vision increasing his density to maximum and dive-bombing Nefaria from height and distance to put the Count down and out.

First appearance of Django Maximoff.
