"B.P.R.D.: 1946, Part 3"
*The Americans and Russians enter the Sanitarium at night nervously. The creatures strike in the dark at the soldiers, just as Bruttenholm and Varvara find what they are looking for: the suspended animation vats where the creatures were to be kept on ice. They find the scientists' notes: 120 monsters were created, but only 20 were left behind. While Varvara and Bruttenholm puzzle the location of the 100 containers, they are approached by vampire Baron Konig, who looks to visit revenge on the world of Men for the betrayal of Count Giurescu and his family. Only when Varvara reveals her true nature does Konig back off and call off the assault, but not before Eaton and many soldiers are killed. Konig vows knowing nothing of the missing containers, and departs. *Source: Warlock
**Professor Bruttenholm and his team-as well as their Soviet allies-return to the asylum, hoping to find out more about Project Vampir Sturm. But a fatal encounter with one of the project's subjects has done little to prepare the investigators for what lurks in the asylum's halls-or the greater horror still to come. **Source: darkhorse.com
