"Even in Death..."
The X-Men clean up after Kitty's battle back at the mansion while Scott settles in to his new life as a fisherman. When his boss's father calls her home, Scott travels with Aleytys to her family home only to find that her father is dead and has been possessed by the demon known as D'Spayre. D'Spayre feeds off the hopelessness of his victims as Scott, with the help of the Man-Thing, defeats D'Spayre.
