"He Who Saves"
*While performing a series of street acrobatics, a young man named Mordecai Jones suffers a freak accident. Daredevil rushes the young man to a hospital, where he is unwittingly subjected to a series of mysterious experiments.
Later, Jones re-emerges from the hospital; this time as the super-powered Dark Messiah, rampaging through the streets of San Francisco while gathering followers from the local penal system. *Source: Tamwood
