Franz meets a middle-aged woman and falls in love, but wishes she were younger. He takes her to Mordoo, and his magic works flawlessly. Now that she is young and beautiful, however, she doesn't want Franz, and departs with the young handsome Mordoo. 5 pages (V-416).
"The Man Who Lost the World!"
A scientist creates a time machine that has only been tested on inanimate objects. His assistant longs for recognition, and, after hours, steals the scientist's funds and sends himself through the machine. He ends up in a time where civilization does not exist, and the monies do him little good. 5 pages (V-417).
