When it was first released at the New York World's Fair, it was originally 25 cents. Since it wasn't selling well, the remaining issues had 15 cent stickers placed on them to try to sell at the lower price. Some of the issues were also bundled with Superman #1 for the same 25 cent price to help recoup some of the losses and encourage sales. By the time the 1940 issue was released, the comic was permanently lowered to the same 15 cent selling price.
