"The Black Knight Reborn!" by Thomas and Purcell/Adkins. 22 pages.
Dane Whitman has discovered that he has inherited a castle in England. Once there, he is contacted by the spirit of the original owner, the Black Knight, Sir Percy of Scandia. Percy tells of how he failed to prevent Mordred from slaying King Arthur, and how he, too, fell beneath Mordred's dagger. Before he died, Merlin cast a spell that Percy's heirs should inherit the ebon sword and spirit of the Black Knight to fight the spirit of Mordred, should it ever return. Mordred's spirit does return to possess Paul Richarde, Le Sabre, and seeks to slay Whitman. The Black Knight defeats him, but the dagger, which was magically forged to slay the Black Knight, is lost over London.
