When Uncle Martin accidently bumps his head the trouble soon begins. Tim learns that Martians have a panic spot on their head that signals their P.D. (personal defender) who attacks any possible threat towards Martin.

Tim goes to the dentist for a filling. The dentist uses a new material causing Martin to hear radio waves. Martin soon hears about a formula that is going to be given to a lady named Vera and something about a sub.

"The Dahlia Dilemma"

Martin shows Tim his emergency air purifier which is a plant that is dormant until he adds an activator. Tim accidently runs over Mrs., Brown's dahlias on his when he goes to leave home. He then decides to use the activator on them to hide the fat. This was not the best choice as Tim finds out.
