"The Man Who Would Not Die!"

Anton Arcane has kidnapped Helmet Kripptmann in his scheme to lure the Swamp Thing. Arcane explains his motivations to his captor by telling him a story of his last encounter with the Swamp Thing.

This issue reprints all of the story from Swamp Thing (Vol 1) #10 except for the last page. This story (pp. 3-22) was written by Len Wein with art by Berni Wrightson.

The main story is bookended by two pages at the front and two pages at the back that tie it in to the current storyline. These pages (pp. 1-2 & 22-23) were written by Martin Pasko with art by Steven Bissette and John Totleben.
