A shipwreck survivor washes ashore on an island near starved. He searches for food, and is strangely drawn to eating the plentiful supply of ants. His rescuers find the man transformed.

Adventurer Murdock Adams seeks shelter from a storm in the only available place, a mausoleum. His sleep is interrupted by a sacrificial ritual to the demon Ludi. Adams saves the young girl, then fights to banish the demon.
