Item Bio
"Along Came a Spider..."
The mysterious Factor Three have Professor X captive, and the X-Men's associate, Banshee, patrols Eastern Europe for clues. In the Alps, Banshee is confronted by a robotic spider guarding Factor Three's lair. He escapes long enough to send a cryptic message about a 'spider menace' to the X-Men prior to being captured. Factor Three sends the robotic spider state-side to determine how much information Banshee had passed on. When it arrives, it first encounters Peter Parker by chance, who battles the robot as Spider-Man. The X-Men have tracked the object and arrive on the scene only to confuse Spider-Man for the 'spider menace'. After a scuffle, the X-Men receive word that Spider-Man was not the enemy and that Banshee has been tracked to a location in the Alps.
